Temple Gates Games, in collaboration with Rio Grande Games, is releasing Roll for the Galaxy across PC and mobile platforms.
Winner of the “Meeples Choice” award, this dice loaded spin on Race for the Galaxy takes players on a new journey through the Galaxy. Roll for the Galaxy is a dice game of building space empires for 2-5 players. Your dice represent your populace, whom you direct to develop new technologies, settle worlds, and ship goods. The player who best manages their workers and builds the most prosperous empire wins!
Roll for the Galaxy is the third mobile board game release for Temple Gates Games, coming on the heels of Shards of Infinity, the sequel to Ascension. “Digital boardgames are seeing a surge of popularity,” says Theresa Duringer, CEO of Temple Gates Games. “The Roll for the Galaxy beta included thousands of players, which gave us the feedback we needed to polish this gem.”
Whether jumping into the tutorial, hopping onto multiplayer, enjoying pass and play, or diving into solo mode, all players will find a challenge in Roll for the Galaxy. The AI for this game was developed by Keldon Jones, the programmer behind the acclaimed Race for the Galaxy AI. Keldon uses neural nets to create challenging opponents for all skill levels.
