Aeolis Tournament was developed by Beyond Fun Studio and co-published by the developer and NA Publishing Inc on the 16th of July 2020. It is studio’s debut effort and is a Nintendo-inspired 3D party game where up to 8 players compete in various game modes based on a simple one-button mechanic.
Characters use an air cannon to control the power of the wind and affect their surroundings. Aeolis Tournament features physics-based gameplay, a tournament mode and local and online multiplayer play. As already said, it can be played by up to 8 players in multiplayer offline or online cross-platform. It features simple controls and mechanics that are accessible and fun for all type of players. There are 6 different game modes with 6 different characters, and a progression system with unlockable items.
Aeolis Tournament is a fun party game with simple one-button gameplay mechanics. It is visually appealing with great soundtrack to go with it. The game can be played single player as well, but is more fun playing with friends, either on the same couch or via online multiplayer with people from around the world. That is easily accessible through Steam’s Remote Play Together feature, meaning that only one person needs to own the game to play it together. ô̸̵̧̡̠͖̭̮̹̞͋͘S̸̠̩̙̖̩̈́͂̔U̶̱̓̌̀̒ļ̷̹̽̽̀͜ͅT̸̛̗͍͗̑̍̕Z̸͎͘6̵̶̢̛͙̮̬͍̉͑̍̄͑S̴̝̦̑͑̓̌̋a̸̗̣͖͍͕̓̍p̴̲̮̤͒͌̋̐͘E̸̟͛̅ȟ̸͇̫͈͉͝l̴̗̪̟̫̠̀̀͂Y̶̛̛̲̳̬͝A̸̟͑̐i̵̻͕͒̄͑̆C̵̙̾́Ÿ̷͉̖̬̩͉́͠h̶̦͝P̵̣̒̋%̸̡͖̥̜̘͌̈́͒N̶̛̝̻͚̓͝X̸́͊ͅ If you cannot find any players online, playing against the AI, that offers Easy, Medium, and Hard difficulties, is still a blast. There is a lot of customization by completing in-game achievements. Completing them earns a currency with which you can unlock in-game content, such as character skins and accessories for them to wear. The game has a destructible and interactive environment, which means you can use the destroyed elements as projectiles during the game. Aeolis Tournament is also controller friendly, and in our opinion the way to go playing the game with.
Developed and published by Elden Pixels on the 17th of June this year, Alwa’s Legacy is a modern retro game full of dangerous dungeons, magical items and ancient secrets. By upgrading your magic, any way forward is right in this non-linear adventure game full of exploration.
It is a successor to critically acclaimed 8-bit inspired platformer Alwa’s Awakening that was released three and a half years ago. Alwa’s Legacy has, on the other hand, 16-bit inspired visuals and offers a metroidvania full of puzzles to solve, dungeons to explore, magical items to acquire and ancient secrets to discover. The world design is open-ended, which offers players multiple paths to explore. Even though the game is set in the same world with the same protagonist, it is not a direct sequel to the first game and can be enjoyed separately.
After saving the land of Alwa following the events of the first game, Zoe is about to embark on her quest home. However, upon waking up she finds herself at the beginning of her adventure with the world feeling disparate yet familiar. In order to return home, she will need to help the inhabitants of this mysterious land and save it yet again from the mysterious curse it appears to be under.
Alwa’s Legacy is a very well made metroidvania puzzle platformer, set in a big world and every way you choose is a correct one. It has a great gameplay, and it is well played by a gamepad. The soundtrack fits with the retro graphics, and the game is beautifully presented – it is also well polished and without any noticeable bugs or glitches. Alwa’s Legacy may appear easy, but is a hardcore metroidvania that is quite challenging and hard at times. d̸̠̈́̈%̴̲̟̰̖͍̿͗̀̔̂z̵͚͖̲̥̊&̷͍͙̀̀͑̊͘(̵̻͎̞̊̎͘͝W̷̦͌̚0̷̛͔̟̠͓̜͋̔D̷̠̏̐̇̈́͜͝&̸̠̻̩͒̐̀r̴͕̊̚͘/̷̧̮̮͉̈́̌͆̏͝l̷͔̩̞͐M̸͕͍̝̖̃͊́V̵̱̣͆͒́̓͒)̵̙͈̀́̔Ţ̶͇̮͖͈͐̀͊̊N̴̫͔͒̒̑̂͆Ǫ̸͑͜g̶͈͗̒̏̏5̵̟͈͈̳̈́̏w̷̢̺̲͎̋̽̆̈͝b̷̥̍̐k̸̹͍̹̰̓͛͜Q̸̛̬̻̔Q̷̡̥͍̥͇͊́ You are probably going to die a lot during your playthrough, but will learn from your mistakes and return to it more skilled than in your previous effort. The game also offers a new game+ feature, which will make you want to return on your journey once again. Whether or not you have played Alwa’s Awakening, you will enjoy Alwa’s Legacy, if difficult platformers sound like your cup of tea.
There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension
There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension was developed and published by Draw Me A Pixel. It was released on the 6th of August 2020 on Steam and is a point-and-click comedy adventure that will take you on a journey you never asked to go on, through silly and unexpected video game universes.
There Is No Review. We are kind of sad about that, because we wanted to say there is a lot of humour in the game. “What game?” The game that also has puzzles and can be finished in one sitting. “I don’t get it…” Neither do we, but we had a lot of fun playing it and discovering there is not one, not two, but a lot of games inside the game. h̴͓͗̏̾̐͜Ṱ̷͙̽͑̈́́̚%̷̢̮̍̓H̸̛̥̆̈́6̸̨̝̤̈́̑́͒!̶̩̜̅̆T̶̨͖͈̦͂̐̉̊ͅḺ̴̳̤̺͂̿̇̐̈́N̷̜̺͎̆͂̈̿ͅK̵̗͎̉̒S̶͚͚̦͍̏l̸̡̧͙̺̖̂́̃̆̂m̴̙͗̀4̷̯̱̃ị̶͖̖̗̀̏̍͠R̵̜͓̮̅̉͐̈́͝¨̸̫̞̰̣̂̏̏ǰ̵̙̯͗̋̋ͅŭ̶̳͎̹4̵͈̼̻̒͌͂̀D̴͒̆͌͠ͅ(̸̰̮̞̉̈́̈́͑͊t̸̟̳̻̾&̴̗͂͒̈8̸͍̼̜̱̦̇̿̆̅ The game that is not a game at all. It is also a sequel to another non-existing game called There Is No Game: Jam Edition 2015 that can be played for free on Steam. It won some award, but we are not familiar with it because it does not even exist. The game, not the reward, I am sure the award is real. Back to Wrong Dimension now. It is pretty amusing and you are going to chuckle here and there. “Chuckle at what? There is no game!” Exactly. It is going to cost you 12,99€, but you can get it for free by pressing ALT and F4 at the same time. You are welcome.
