Good Shepherd Entertainment and independent developer Ace Team have announced that The Eternal Cylinder has officially been delayed to 2021. The additional development time will be utilized to focus on player experience and to further realize the already beautiful unique alien world that the game tasks players with exploring. A special Closed-Beta version of the game is planned for early 2021 and players can sign-up for this now at the game’s official website: www.eternalcylinder.com. More information about the game’s final release date will be revealed next year.
The Eternal Cylinder puts you in control of a herd of adorable creatures on a surreal alien world where all life must contend with the threat of… the Cylinder, a gargantuan rolling structure of ancient origin which crushes everything in its path! In this massive world with real-time environmental destruction, you’ll discover exotic landscapes, outwit and outrun deadly predators, and solve dynamic puzzles and challenges.
Your creatures start at the bottom of the food chain but can evolve with dozens of adaptive abilities to overcome obstacles and escape danger. These mutations stack, allowing for a huge variety of creature designs and gameplay choices
The Eternal Cylinder is expected to launch via the Epic Games Store, Xbox One and PlayStation®4 sometime in 2021. Players can sign up now for the game’s PC Closed-Beta, coming early next year, at www.EternalCylinder.com.
